Grim is likely one of the most loyal guardsmen one would ever meet. So much so that when ordered to retreat he shot the commander for being a coward, and landed in to a penal legion…

Since then he was removed from the Legion to serve the Inquisition as a novice due to his zeal.

Grim whole life has been one battle after another. Growing up on a war world of Kryss a planet the was fought over for the last 78 years. Well untell about 5 years ago when the planet was deemed unfit and viruses bombed killing the heretics and anyone loyal to the throne.

Grim firmly believes that he was taken off the planet to pay for the sins of the people lost on that world. The Inquisition has done nothing to stop him from feeling this way.
